The Opportunity 


Purchasing Supervisor who wishes to work within a multi-billion-dollar global organisation with unprecedented growth and a strong vision for the future. This position contributes to the organisational objectives by ensuring all purchasing requirements are actioned to meet our customer commitments, with a focus on supply.



Key Responsibilities 

  • People management of 1 full time and 1 part-time employee
  • Establish a solid demand forecast for all stock keeping units
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained at agreed levels
  • Effective purchasing inventory management
  • Liaise with local suppliers and National Procurement team on national supplier accounts
  • Plan, place and expedite purchase orders on our domestic suppliers
  • Communicate clearly and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop integration of the JELD-WEN hardware requirements to all divisions
  • Responsible for driving the Procurement administrative functions

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in warehousing import distribution or manufacturing.
  • Ability to execute inventory management plans and deliver outcomes consistently.
  • Understanding of and capability in purchasing/supply chain functions/inventory management/warehouse management systems.
  • MS Excel skills and able to use and apply Excel for reporting and analytical purposes.
  • A natural planner with a logical, structured approach to their work.
  • Possesses quality relationship building and influencing skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
