Your Opportunity


As the Commercial Estimator, you're an integral team member of our Sales and Customer Service department within our Commercial arm focusing on multi and high rise residential developments, commercial premises and government infrastructure. You'll be providing support, estimating service and design advice working closely with our Sales Representatives, building positive relationships by providing exceptional customer service by offering solutions to contract administrators, builders, developers, subcontractors and architects.


In addition, you’ll:

  • provide accurate costings and pricing schedules for standard and custom products
  • process quotes and orders from shop floor drawings and architectural plans
  • coordinate with site supervisors and managers, contract administrators and subcontractors to ensure completion of works
  • handle service related escalations
  • provide solutions with the involvement of the R&D team
  • Build relationships with contract administrators, builders, developers, subcontractors and architects.

About you


We’re looking to leverage your experience and understanding of the commercial building industry along with your knowledge in building specifications, reading and interpreting  construction drawings and architectural plans and deciphering what is required to correctly estimate and quote to the customer. We're seeking someone who has a desire to nurture relationships with all stakeholders, is able to work collaboratively within our team, contribute to a positive work environment, who has a very high attention to detail. 


In addition, you will bring:

  • ability to provide solutions based advice considering the costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate
  • sound MS skills in particular with Excel and capability to learn in-house system Titan 
  • design software and CAD experience (a distinct advantage)
  • systematic approach to managing the workload
